Project activities

Stimulating knowledge transfer.

The actions related to knowledge transfer and informational initiatives for ensuring energy efficiency in construction aim to support measures that enhance competitiveness and diversification in the field. This includes encouraging businesses oriented towards achieving sustainable building management and environmental protection objectives, adopting environmentally friendly technologies and practices, implementing best practices in energy efficiency, and utilizing renewable energy sources.

The evolution and specialization of construction require appropriate technical vocational training support, as well as an increased capacity for accessing knowledge and information, including through information dissemination.

The knowledge transfer and informational actions will be tailored to the needs of the target actors, including enterprises and all legal entities operating in the construction sector. Therefore, equal support is necessary for professional guidance, demonstrative activities, and informational initiatives. The knowledge and information gained through knowledge transfer and informational actions should enable legal entities engaged in the construction sector, in particular, to enhance their competitiveness, use eco-innovative materials, technologies, and processes more effectively, optimize resources, and improve environmental performance.

Access of enterprises to facilities, installations, equipment.

This activity aims to encourage interaction between the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iași (TUIași) and the business environment in the construction sector by financing enterprises' access to extended expertise and the research laboratory facilities of UTIași, especially those within the involved faculties. The goal is to commercialize research outcomes to enterprises that develop market-driven businesses aligned with the specific objectives of the project. For this purpose, partnerships will be established between the Faculty of Construction and Installations at TUIași and interested enterprises/groups of enterprises seeking knowledge, skills, and competencies that address strategic development needs. These partnerships will provide innovative solutions for obtaining eco-innovative products, processes, and technologies identified as having a significant contribution to achieving energy efficiency in the construction sector.

Specialized support will be provided to enterprises, tailored to address individually or collectively identified needs, at various stages of implementing eco-innovative products and technologies for energy efficiency.

Activities for skills/competence transfer and innovation support.

Within this group of activities, the project implementation team will work on the development and utilization of relevant tools for sustainable development. The main directions of action for the target groups are: developing the scientific basis of sustainable management, increasing the level of scientific knowledge, enhancing the quality of long-term scientific assessments, and building scientific capacity and capability.
